We moved to Forest Gate in the mid-90s because it gave us three things – great transport links to get around London, we wanted our own garden and access to nature (Epping forest), and a friendly neighbourhood. Since then, the transport links have improved and Stratford is an amazing place to have on your doorstep.

Now there are even more families moving into the area and it is as vibrant as ever. We love Forest Gate and we enjoyed one last stay at number 50 before putting our home on the market – it’s forever in our hearts.
