Community Brickworks
We believe ending homelessness and building a fairer society is a responsibility we all share. As a business, we're committed to playing our part in addressing housing inequality.
From day one, we’ve given a percentage of each sale fee to homeless charities. It started small, but over the years, our contributions have added up.
In recent years, we’ve formalised our commitment through a collaboration with Accumulate: The Art School for the Homeless. This amazing charity –– run by the inspirational Marice Cumber and others –– uses creativity to improve the wellbeing of young people who are affected by homelessness.

As part of its work, Accumulate has created paid art and design scholarships to Ravensbourne University London – first for the Access course, then, for those who advance, for the BA.
Brickworks was delighted to support Lisa Louise in 2018. She was one of five participants to receive an Accumulate sponsorship in the inaugural year and is now studying a BA (Hons) Photography at Ravensbourne University London. And in 2022, the Brickworks scholarship went to Aref (shown above), who starts at Ravensbourne in September.
In 2021, Accumulate produced the first graphic novel created by people affected by homelessness. Brickworks was delighted to be one of the main sponsors. Read more here. And to learn about Accumulate, their mission and their work, please see here.
