THE OWNER SAYS

There is no home like this! Its history is spectacular and is the essence of what makes London great. Built in the Victorian Gothic era, it served as a film school with the likes of Christopher Lee passing through its doors. Then it housed Wessex Studios, founded by Beatles’ producer George Martin. ‘London Calling’ and ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ were recorded here. The ‘stomp - stomp - clap’ of Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’ was apparently recorded in the space that is now our flat.

The neighbours are a fantastic group of down-to-earth, thoughtful, and considerate people.

The flat is on a tree-lined street built originally for Victorian water canals, which has left a legacy of green and diverse nature, so coming home feels peaceful. The surrounding community is London at its best – accessible, with a local feel and many wonderful places and ways to connect with others. It’s been an absolute dream to live here.
