THE OWNER SAYS
This house has been a calm, quiet sanctuary for us. We love all the original features, especially the front door—which we painstakingly restored—and the fireplaces in the bedrooms.
We have a very friendly relationship with our neighbours, and we’ll miss the feeling of being part of such a strong, supportive community. There are lots of amazing places to eat and drink within walking distance: With Milk, Ten to Ten, True Craft, The Palm and many more. We’ll be sad to leave, but we think the next owners will love the house as much as we have.

1 With Milk
Run by two lovely sisters with North African & Tottenham roots, this sweet independent coffee shop & deli on nearby Philip Lane packs a punch serving amazing coffee roasted by Perky Blenders in local Leytonstone. With a changing menu of sandwiches, sweet treats and blooming excellent croissants that always hit the spot, the ladies also offer gluten-free options, a range of halal meats and wonderful cheeses.
2 Tottenham Green Leisure Centre
Having recently had a massive refurbishment, the facilities are now excellent. These include three pools, a gym, sauna and an ever popular soft play area. There is also a cafe where parents can rest up and watch the kids let off steam.
3 The High Cross
All quaint and Tudor-y, this micropub is actually situated in what used to be a 1920s public toilet. (They don’t make ’em like they used to…) Renowned for its surprisingly large selection of beer and an absolutely delicious Sunday Roast, this eccentric wee gem could be your new local.
4 The Beehive
Inside, this “community pub” has all the usual diversions—pool table, board games, darts. But the huge covered beer garden is the real draw. Open all year round, it’s as buzzy as the pub’s name implies.
5 Bernie Grant Arts Centre
The eponymous Bernie Grant Arts Centre, founded by the Tottenham Labour MP during the 90s, was designed by David Adjaye and was built to showcase the best of independent and international arts with a focus on culturally diverse practice. There is a fantastic arthouse cinema, dance and theatre auditorium and cafe/bar/shop. All well worth a visit in our opinion.
