THE OWNER SAYS

For us, this property was the unicorn that we never thought we’d find; a first-floor property with private entrance and a garden. When we saw it, we fell in love. It needed some work, but the beautiful light rooms, original sash windows and period features were qualities that jumped out at us. Since then, we have lovingly restored it from ‘period property with potential’ into our family home.

The location is great too. Whether it’s going into or heading out of London, it’s so easy with the Thameslink and Jubilee Line trains and the M1 short distances away. Whenever we fancy a coffee, a craft beer or perfect pasta, we stroll over to enjoy Willesden Green’s local offerings, like our favourite Italian, Sanzios.

For us, the cherry on the top has to be the fabulous Gladstone Park, a huge hidden gem just around the corner. Whether it’s Parkrun on a Saturday morning, an evening walk taking in the views of the London skyline or an afternoon picnic among the blossom trees, we love it every time.
