What a fantastic house! The pale, painted floorboards and woodwork link the spaces together and give a calm atmosphere throughout. We are especially taken by the beautifully-designed, top-floor bathroom, which is bright and spacious and has a walk-in shower and luxurious roll top bath.
All four bedrooms are doubles. And having the main one on the top floor, away from the others, means there is a degree of separation which feels perfect for parents.
Downstairs, the contemporary kitchen with exposed brickwork overlooks a south facing garden with wooden climbing frame and swing for little people. Dimensions-wise, it's very decent (by local standards) and is well-kept and sunny; achieving the perfect balance between kids and grown-ups.

We’d viewed over 35 properties before we found this house and we knew the search was over pretty soon after walking through the front door.
The hallway was wider and airier than most and with a view straight through to the garden. The kitchen was big, and the upstairs just seemed to ramble on. It’s been a great family home, and we have loved every minute of living within its walls.

Our favourite place to spend additional pennies on over-priced organic chocolate from Australia and locally brewed beer. Joking aside, the selection is good, and it’s easily one of the best local places to get quality, organic produce. You get to take all of it home in a tote – which rather tellingly reads, “Not Another Tescos.”
The grand establishment that is The Salisbury harks back to the days when the area was really rather posh indeed. It’s both a relief and a delight that despite various refurbishments over the years, no one has gone and done anything silly like ripping out the original, ornate, atmospheric Victorian saloon bar and décor. A wonderful pub like this is even more special when you can call it your ‘local’.
This wonderful Victorian Park has a playgroup, playground, tennis courts, community cafe, and a charming lavender and rose garden, making it a place for all seasons.
Their second location, shares more of the good stuff: a bakery and café by day, a pizza and wine spot by night. The Dusty Knuckle is a purpose-driven business, helping at-risk youth take forward steps in their lives through on-the-job training and mentorship. Insanely popular, and utterly delicious there isn't anything about his place we don't like.
