THE OWNERS SAY
We fell in love with this house as soon as we walked through the door. The previous owners lived here since the 1920s and had kept all of the original features, so it was a dream project. We extended and renovated but kept all the fireplaces, floors and other period details. Our house is the only one on the road with the original Victorian doors between the two sitting rooms. When you close them in winter and light a fire, it creates a lovely, cosy snug.
The garden is so peaceful and not overlooked at all. It has been our sanctuary over the last few months. We have spent many happy days and evenings with our friends and family in the kitchen and garden; with the doors wide open, it makes a great entertaining space.
The neighbours are friendly and have really looked out for each other during lockdown. We even have a lovely street party in the summer. We have been spoilt by the location and have had our pick of local brilliant primary schools. We are not sure we will find anywhere else so perfectly placed.
