With a refurb that literally went back to brick, this immaculate, two-bedroom house in N15, sits at the end of a pretty Victorian terrace and is in tip-top condition.

Alexandra Road is one of a collection of streets found betwixt and between West Green Road and St Ann’s. Within this pocket, there is a real sense of community with a mix of original neighbours and young families new to the area. With very little through traffic, this peaceful spot is moments from Chestnuts Park, yet still close enough to bustling Green Lanes (0.7 miles) to keep things interesting.

BRICKWORKS SAYS

We love the way this end of terrace house has a cosy cottage-like feel about it. The sunny downstairs is neatly divided into living, dining and kitchen spaces, all with good proportions and finished to a high standard. Every room, including the stripped pine staircase, has been thoughtfully refurbished with great care by the current owners, including a new kitchen and gorgeous family size bathroom with freestanding ‘pebble’ bath.

Virtually equidistant from Green Lanes and Seven Sisters Station, you are conveniently positioned for transport, and only a short walk to an array of independent bars, cafes, Turkish restaurants and greengrocers, full of amazing produce! Chestnuts Park is literally at the end of your road, so you are also well placed for admission to the coveted Chestnuts Primary School which is just the other side of the park. We can hardly think of a better walk to drop off the mini-beasts.

THE OWNER SAYS

We've absolutely loved living here for the past four years. We enjoyed every moment renovating the house and put a lot of love and care into it.

It has been amazing to see the area go from strength to strength and feel part of such a tight knit community. The proximity to great coffee spots, cool new breweries and delicious Turkish food has been a particular highlight. We will miss the area so much: we got engaged here, married locally and saw our family grow. We will miss the house and community so much!

POINTS TO CONSIDER

The house has an Energy Efficient Rating: D & Environmental Impact Rating: E

Part of Haringey Council, the property is in Council Tax Band D. (£1,524 for 2017/18).

When we say this house has been completely renovated, we really do mean it! Extensive work was carried out by the owners when they moved in four years ago, including moving the bathroom upstairs, knocking down internal walls to open up the dining and kitchen area, a new kitchen fitted including a new boiler. All the plumbing was replaced and new radiators installed along with updated electrics and double-glazed windows. The owners also had a wall of built-in storage fitted in the master bedroom, and the loft has been fully insulated and boarded, so it is all prepped for any further refurbishment. Finished off with the garden make over completed this summer, this house is in extremely sound condition, all you need to do is move in!

With many successful loft conversions already undertaken on the same street, this additional extension would be an obvious next move for any growing family in this rapidly-evolving part of Tottenham. Subject to the usual consents, of course.

If cycling is your mode of transport, the Cycle Superhighway (CS1) has been extended up from Old Street and Dalston to Tottenham High Road to Seven Sisters tube, which now means its much safer and quicker to cycle into central London.
